Before you do something, you must know WHY you are doing it.
Why am I a certified health coach?
It has taken me decades, but I am finally at a place where I know that eating well is vital to me as a person. If I eat like crap, I feel like crap. I HAVE to eat foods that nourish me if I want to show up as the wife, mother and grandmother that I want to be. I HAVE to exercise and build lean muscles if I want to be strong as I age.
And that, my friends, is my “why”.
I want to operate from a place where it is fun and easy to eat whole, natural foods and exercise daily.
I want to help women reconnect with who they really are, saying,
“Oh, hello there, self! So nice to see you again!”
That is my WHY. I want to walk away from diet culture and instead embrace a way of life that is all about real health and wellness. A life where eating is a joyful act,
where foods not only taste fabulous, but also make us feel fabulous.
Next: the HOW - this is where it all gets brought to life.
In the fall of 2024, when I finally decided that I wanted to live out my why of becoming a certified wellness coach, I knew I needed a way to make that happen. So I prayed. And the answer? I was introduced to a company, The FASTer Way to Fat Loss. As I researched, I began to cry, and it wasn’t just a few tears, but deeply felt joy from the inner recesses of my soul.
In short, The FASTer Way to Fat Loss gives my dream structure.
Amanda Tress, the founder and CEO of The FASTer Way, was a personal trainer for years, helping her clients get great results before she became successful in the digital marketing space. When other trainers told her that their clients were not getting results, she went into overdrive. She did the hard work of finding out what delivers real health and wellness. The answer was captured in her online digital company, The FASTer Way to Fat Loss, which for me, has synchronized all of the elements of fitness, allowing me to live out my passion.
It was an easy decision to become a certified coach with The FASTer Way.
Basically, Amanda Tress, with her vision and company, has given me the structure, or the “how” of my dream, allowing me to do what I love to do: coach, inspire, lead others to freedom.
We talked about the why and the how. And that brings me to WHAT.
What I offer as a coach with The FASTer Way to Fat Loss: a six week online course, where in the first week you will learn the basics of intermittent fasting and whole food nutrition, which are game-changers. Then in subsequent weeks we will tackle other subjects, such as carb cycling and macro tracking. (Don’t worry, I’ll help you not only understand them, but how to apply them to your life.) Additionally, you will receive world-class workouts that are new daily. Yes, you heard that right. Every single day, a new work out, targeting a specific area of the body. And it doesn’t matter if you are beginning this journey or well on your way, there are a variety of workouts to choose from, ensuring you will be challenged at your fitness level.
The ‘what’ is important; it is the result of taking the action.
The end goal: to show up well-rested, creative, energetic and yes, full of passion to live the life that God intended you to live.
